Coeur d'Alene's Colvin signs with UNLV

LAS VEGAS — UNLV women's basketball officially announced Thursday the signing of Coeur d'Alene High guard Teagan Colvin to a national letter of intent.
Colvin, a 5-foot-7 point guard, is ranked among ESPN Top 100 recruits, Wootten Top 150 and John Lucas Top 160. Colvin is a two-time all-state first team selection and a three-time all-league first-team honoree.
During her junior season, Colvin was named the 5A Inland Empire League MVP after leading the Vikings to an Idaho state championship. She averaged 18.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 5.9 steals and 1.2 blocks as a junior and was named the MaxPreps Player of the Year for Idaho.
Colvin was invited to the Under Armour Future 60 camp, which welcomes the best prospects to IMG Academy to participate in on-court instruction, skill development, and competition in addition to a variety of off-the-court training sessions.
"Teagan was a highly recruited guard that chose us over some quality programs," UNLV coach Lindy La Rocque said. "We could not be more thrilled to add her competitiveness, leadership and basketball IQ to the team. Her presence will be felt as soon as she steps on campus in the classroom and on the court."
