Food drive today at Ramsey Park

The Kootenai County Democrats will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Ramsey Park, 3525 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene. 

The food drive will benefit the food banks in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls. 

“We invite our generous and caring community to join us in this opportunity to work together for the common good,” said Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee Chair Evan Koch. 

Donations can be dropped off at Ramsey Park’s south parking lot. Blue signs along Ramsey Road will direct community members to a white tent in the parking lot. 

All non-perishable food items are appreciated, however items most appreciated include:

  • Canned tuna and chicken
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Peanut Butter and jelly
  • Pasta and spaghetti sauce
  • Cereals 
  • Toilet paper
  • Laundry Soap

This event will go on rain or shine.
