PRIEST RIVER — Desi Humphrey led the Spartans in scoring for the second-straight game as Priest River fell to Kellogg, 55-28 at Priest River Lamanna High School on Monday.

The Wildcats got out to an 11-1 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Macy Jerome (17) and Emily Coe (10) combined for 27 points for Kellogg.

For Priest River, Desi Humphrey led the way with team-highs in points (7) and assists (2). Pavin Coleman scored three points and corralled a team-high seven rebounds. Helena White played some quality minutes off the bench, putting up four points and four rebounds. Paityn Yount had six points, four rebounds and a block for the Spartans.

Priest River (1-1, 0-1) will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 2 at home against cross-border rival Newport.
