SHERIFF: Too much time?

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 year, 1 month AGO

Recent report on Kootenai County Sheriff Norris doing library patrols, I wondered with staffing issues and county wide crime how he had time to take on this serious book threat. The Nov. 19 story in the Coeur d’Alene Press about his swearing in some special deputies with no background in law enforcement appears to be the reason he had time for his special library enforcement campaign. The term “professional law enforcement executive” doesn’t come to mind when talking about elected Sheriff Norris.
