Good market found for Flathead apples
E.J. Cramer returned from Great Falls where he went with a car load of bulk apples from the west shore of Flathead Lake. Besides giving hundreds away, a large number were sold in small lots to people after tasting the delicious flavor of the Flathead fruit.
Great Falls offers a splendid market for Montana apples and other fruit, as the people of that city are all in accord in saying that the home product is far above that of Wenatchee and other sections of Washington and Oregon.
Great Falls offers a sure and steady market to the Flathead growers and will no doubt have a chance to get their fill of the Montana article from now on. The citizens flocked about the car like little children when a circus comes to town, for they were anxious to see real Montna apples grown on Montana trees, and on leaving were certainly satisfied that Montana is the state that can grow fruit with a flavor.
