David Neal Frear, 83, was born April 25, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a devoted fan of Ohio State football, never missing a game. Along with his love for football, David had an adoration for antique cars of all kinds, with a special fondness for Packards.

Sadly, he passed away Sept. 11, 2023, due to cardiac arrest, with his daughter by his side. David was the beloved son of Walter Zane Frear and Catharine Postlewaite Frear. He is survived by his children, Lindsey Frear Jacobson and David Frear Jr., as well as his cherished grandchildren, Savannah, Tommy and David III.

David will always be remembered for his unconditional love for his children and grandchildren, as well as his incredible work ethic. To honor his memory, a private family service will be held next summer at his childhood summer home in Michigan. May his soul rest in peace.
