Work to close transfer station Monday

SANDPOINT — Residents needed to take items to the Colburn Transfer Station are going to have to wait a day — or visit another site — Monday.

The transfer station will be closed Oct. 9 due to construction.

All of the county's other sites will be open, officials said.

The station is expected to reopen Tuesday.
