Lieuallen wins SMS tennis tournament

Thirty Sandpoint middle schoolers competed in the second annual Jim Parsons Wooden Racquet Tennis Tournament held Thursday at Travers Park. Alec Lieuallen was the tournament champion defeating Dexter Williams via a tiebreaker in the finals. All participants competed using vintage wood racquets in honor of Jim Parsons, many of the rackets coming from Parsons's personal collection.
