WENATCHEE, Wash. — Isaac Fritts and Spencer Lords scored for the visiting North Idaho Cardinals (2-7-1, 1-6-1 Northwest Athletic Conference), who fell to the Wenatchee Valley Knights (5-6-1, 3-4-1) 4-2 on Saturday for their fifth straight loss.

“I felt like we ran out of gas again,” NIC coach Brad Williams said. “We’re still short on bodies; we had eight guys home with injuries and illnesses. We fight hard and we try hard, but we’re definitely lacking depth.”
