SCC releases honor roll for Summer 2023

SPOKANE — Spokane Community College announced their honor roll for the 2023 Summer quarter Oct. 4. The list features 487 students who achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or above, according to the announcement.

The Summer honor roll included Othello residents Marcella Arrieta and Ruby Garcia in recognition of their accomplishments during the summer semester which ended in August.

SCC is one of two community colleges within the Community Colleges of Spokane district, according to the announcement. SCC hosts programs in career and technical training and apprenticeship programs, as well as associate degrees. SCC serves more than 15,000 students annually with a main campus in east Spokane, five other locations in rural areas of northeastern Washington and a program in the Airway Heights Correctional Center, the statement said.
