Bomar, Christenson help senior pros win
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Local golfers Billy Bomar and David Christenson were part of the winning senior professional team at the 32nd Senior Hudson Cup matches, which concluded Friday at Royal Oaks Country Club.
The pros defeated the amateurs 13 ½-6 ½.
Bomar, former co-owner of Prairie Falls Golf Club in Post Falls, and Christenson each won their singles matches 2 & 1 on Friday.
On Thursday, Bomar won his four-ball match 3 & 2, and lost his foursome match 4 & 2. Christenson won his four-ball match 3 & 2 and halved his foursome match.
In the 75th Hudson Cup matches, the amateurs won 16 ½-3 ½.
