PREP FOOTBALL: Lakeland's Hillman has a night against Timberlake

RATHDRUM — Lakeland sophomore quarterback Peyton Hillman accounted for four touchdowns as the Hawks held off the Timberlake Tigers 28-24 in a nonleague game at Corbit Field on Friday.
Hillman ran for two scored and threw two more to Roan Reilly for Lakeland, which snapped a four-game losing streak.
Senior Cooper Lenz ran for touchdowns of 53- and 71-yards for Timberlake, which trailed 28-14 at halftime.
Next Friday, Lakeland (4-4) hosts Moscow and Timberlake (4-4) visits Bonners Ferry.

GRANGEVILLE — The visiting Wildcats fell to 2-6, 1-2 in Central Idaho League play with a loss to the Bulldogs (4-3, 3-0).
Kellogg hosts Priest River next Friday in a nonleague game.
Grangeville, which clinched the league title with the win, is off until the opening rond of the state 2A playoffs.

CLARK FORK — The host Wampus Cats (3-3, 3-3 NSL) moved into second place in the North Star League with a win over the Miners (3-4, 2-4).
Clark Fork hosts Lakeside next Friday. The Knights beat the Wampus Cats 37-16 on Sept. 15.
Wallace (3-4, 2-4) travels to face Mullan/St. Regis next Friday at John Drager Field in Mullan.

MULLAN — Freshman quarterback Conner Lulis threw a pair of 50-yard touchdown passes in the first quarter for the Tigers, who clinched the North Star League title with a win over the Knights at John Drager Field.
Qwincy Hall ran for four touchdowns, three in the second half for Lakeside (3-5, 2-3), which travels to Clark Fork next Friday.
Mullan (7-1, 6-0) hosts Wallace next Friday.
