MATTAWA — The community is invited to the South Grant County Candidate Forum on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Wahluke High School, according to an announcement from the South Grant County Chamber of Commerce.

The forum will feature candidates for eleven Grant County governmental agencies, including the Port of Mattawa, Hospital District 5, Wahluke School District, the city of Mattawa Mayor and council member positions, Grant County Fire District 8, Airport District 1, Beverly Water District 1, Royal School District, Royal City Cemetary District, the city of Royal City and Hospital District 7.

Both candidates who are running unopposed and those in contested races will be present at the event, which will be in the Wahluke High School auditorium, located at 505 North Boundary Rd. in Mattawa.
