Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 year, 4 months AGO
Charline Louise Tillotson, 80, of Post Falls, Idaho, unexpectedly passed away July 29, 2023. She began her beautiful life Jan. 22, 1943, being born in Cottonwood, Idaho, to Louis and Regina Feucht, who preceded her in death.
Charline graduated from Mullan High School in 1961 and was first married to Dennis Ward, with whom she had two sons, and later divorced. Her adventures carried her to Redding, Calif., where she obtained her certification as a licensed vocational nurse, and married her second husband, Elmer Tillotson. Together, she and Elmer raised her children; first in California and then in Montana, ultimately settling into retirement and their final home in Post Falls.
She enjoyed spending time with family, winters in Arizona and being part of the St. George’s Catholic Parish Community.
She was loved dearly and will be missed immensely by her surviving sister, Delphine (and Roger) Fisher, her sons, Tim (and Jan) Ward and Dean (and Jana) Ward, her three stepchildren, Jim (and Laura) Tillotson, Geraldine (and Chuck) Riffel and Carla (and Mark) Robinson and her extensive family of grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charline will be laid to rest at a later date with her beloved husband of 38 years, Elmer, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Charline at a funeral mass Sept. 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. George’s Catholic Church in Post Falls. The family suggests that memorials may be made in her memory to St. George’s Catholic Church building fund at bit.ly/GatherAndGrow2023.
