NIC to host poet Laura Read

"But She is Also Jane" is poet Laura Read's latest work.
The North Idaho College Writing Center’s visiting writer series is set to host poet Laura Read at noon Wednesday, Sept. 13 at the Writing Center in the Lee Hall Annex at NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
The reading and book signing features select works from Read’s latest poetry collection and Juniper Prize for Poetry winner “But She Is Also Jane.”
Read served as poet laureate of Spokane from 2015-17 and her previous works include “Dresses from the Old Country,” “Instructions for my Mother’s Funeral” and “The Chewbacca on Hollywood Boulevard Reminds Me of You.”
