Lakeland to honor hall of fame class this weekend

RATHDRUM — The Lakeland Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2023 will be honored this Friday at halftime of the Hawks' home football game vs. West Valley at Corbit Field.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Honorees include Alice Deaver (teacher and coach), Claudia Collins Ebel (teacher and coach), Will Havercroft (athletic director, teacher and coach), Clint Leonard (class of 2003), Brandon Palaniuk (class of 2006), Natalie Nichols (class of 2007), Camille Reynolds (class of 2009), Kyle McCrite (class of 2009) and Brandon Richardson (class of 2010).

Also, a reception for the honorees is scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. at MoonDollars at the Twin Lakes Village Golf Course.

Vandal boosters scheduled to meet Thursday at Cd'A Resort

COEUR d'ALENE — The first Kootenai County Vandal Boosters luncheon of the fall 2024 season is set for Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at "The Shore" at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
