Lois M. Bloomenfeld, 93

Lois Greenberg Bloomenfeld (Nov. 8, 1929 — Aug. 15, 2023)

Lois was a loving daughter and dedicated wife — mother of four survived by children Shelley, Marc and Michael, predeceased by daughter Reina and husband Murray. She was also blessed with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lois was born in Newark, N.J., to parents Mae and Harry Greenberg. She was a proud graduate of NYU. In 1951, Lois married her husband, Murray Bloomenfeld, and soon made her way to south Florida, where she was dedicated to raising her children and sharing her passion for the arts!

Lois gave of her time generously to several foundations including time spent on the board for the Miami City Ballet. She spent her later years in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Her love of family, music and the arts was her lifelong passion. She was an accomplished artist, an animal advocate, loved the theater, music and enjoyed sharing her passions with others. She was kind and giving of her time and enjoyed helping others.

Rest in peace, Lois. You are loved and already missed by all!
