MOSES LAKE — On this episode of the Studio Basin podcast, Managing Editor R. Hans "Rob" Miller sat down for a monthly discussion with Grant County Sheriff Joe Kriete. The pair spoke about the value of transparency for law enforcement, how the GCSO budget process is moving toward finalization and the retirement of K-9 Chewbacca as well as a donation from Moses Lake Industries to bring in a new K-9 unit to serve Grant County residents.

In sports, Sports Reporter Ian Bivona and Senior Reporter Cheryl Schweizer go over a handful of last week's football and girls soccer games from around the area, including games in Moses Lake, Ephrata and Mattawa.
