The Thorns Gold team went undefeated and took first place in the Gold Division, scoring 17 goals over the weekend. The Thorns beat the Spokane Sounders Girls 2013 Valley Rave team 3-2 in the championship game on Sunday. On Friday, the Timbers Red Team played an interclub match against Timbers North FC 2016 White team, with the Red winning 10-3. After playing the first half of the game as keeper, Mackenzie Dolan started the second half of the game with a quick goal at the start of the half and striker Presley Moreau scored a second goal to bring the final score to 4-0. The Thorns continue their DPL league games next week with a game against EW Surf.
