Custer’s Grass Band, one of the Northwest’s premiere bluegrass bands, will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, 405 North William Street.

Doors will open at 6:30 with light refreshments. Tickets are available online at thejacklincenter.org for $20.

Custer’s Grass Band recorded the first bluegrass album originating from the Pacific Northwest in 1976, with special instrumental contributions by Grammy winning fiddler, Mark O’Connor.

Over the last three decades the band has appeared at dozens of colleges, festivals and music venues throughout the greater Pacific Northwest.

Today, the original band is still intact, delivering traditional bluegrass music with crisp instrumentation complimented by tight vocal harmonies.
