COEUR d'ALENE — Santa Claus and the Marines will be at Figpickels Toy Emporium, 210 Sherman Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, to kick off the 2023 Toys for Tots campaign.

Shoppers can buy Christmas stockings and coloring books for $1 that will be part of the gift packages for North Idaho families in need.

The goal is to fill up the Toys for Tots trailer that will be parked in front of the store.

Figpickels will give grab bags to everyone who donates.

"Please join us for this impactful event that will start the holiday season in the spirit of responsible giving that we hope will last throughout the season and throughout the year," a press release said.
