STAFF REPORT | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 1 year, 7 months AGO
The Coeur d’Alene Skeet and Trap Club’s winter league clay sports competition is approaching.
The competition begins Jan. 3 and runs through the third week in March, culminating in a banquet for presentation of team and individual awards. Sign-up sheets will be available starting Dec. 1 at the Hayden clubhouse, 1879 W. Miles Ave.
Teams consist of five to eight people competing in trap, skeet and 5-stand events. Individuals can enter and be assigned to a team.
“We’re here for the community,” said Tom Bosenko, the club’s information officer. “Somebody can be new to the sport with limited or no experience or they can be an advanced shooter.”
Entry costs $150 per team, which does not include the cost of 25 clay targets per round. Individual and family memberships are available and provide a reduced price in the cost of each round shot.
The competition is open to the public, including those who are not members of the club.
For information, call the club at 208-772-2275.
