Sheppard, a senior forward, recorded a hat trick and two assists for the Panthers in a 6-3 win over Timberlake last Thursday in Spirit Lake. “We moved Alexa from the backline to the top and relied on her intellect, strength and speed to be the cornerstone of our offensive attack,” Coeur d’Alene Charter coach Stacy Smith said. “She’s done well connecting with both our midfielders and outside players rather than taking on the burden of goal scoring on her own.”
