Aspire Community Theatre is opening their seventh season with The Who's rock opera, “Tommy,” at the The Midge and Pepper Smock Family Theater at the Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d’Alene.
Based on the iconic 1969 rock concept album by The Who, “Tommy,” is a story of hope, healing and the human spirit. The story of the pinball-playing, deaf, dumb and blind boy who triumphs over his adversities has inspired and puzzled audiences for more than 40 years.
The five-time Tony Award-winning musical was translated to the stage by Des McAnuff, into a high-energy theatrical event.
Aspire is a community theater full of talented performers local to North Idaho and backed with professional musicians.
