Earth Day celebration Saturday

Community members of all ages are invited to the Coeur d’Alene Public Library’s annual Earth Day celebration Saturday.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with activities in the library’s Community Room and outside on the side of the library near McEuen Park.
This year’s theme is “The Planet vs. Plastics” and will highlight the local organizations that are making the environment more sustainable. There will be educational booths, activities, free times, a children’s storytime at 11 a.m. and live performances by the Coeur d’Alene Symphony, Sorensen World Drummers and Sorensen Step Dancers and Ripple Dance Company.

Water gun brings police to Coeur d’Alene High School
