Ronald W. Halliday, 85

Ron Halliday met his Lord and Savior on April 21, 2024. Ron was born Dec. 18, 1938, to Warrick and Mary Halliday of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. During his younger years, he worked on his uncle's ranch. After high school, he started working at the Potlatch Lumber Mill. He married Daisy Ovnicek, having two daughters.

In 1983, Ron met and married Donna Adkins. He spent 12 years in Lewiston and retired after 42 years with Potlatch. 

Proceeding him in death were his parents, brother Bruce Halliday and brother Dick Halliday.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters Teresa Tolbert of Juneau, Alaska, and Holly Ward of Lakeside, Mont.; brother Doug Halliday of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; stepdaughters Gail Fitzgerald of North Dakota, Sandra Gladish of Post Falls, Idaho, and Stepson Jeff Montoya of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  

Between them, they had 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
