A woman wanted a Kalispell Police Department officer to counsel an allegedly menacing neighbor. They purportedly became hostile toward her when she confronted them about whispering with another neighbor, believing they were talking about her.

A man reportedly tried using an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card and couldn’t get it to work, telling an employee he didn’t know the pin because the card wasn’t his. The employee told him, “Well, if it’s not yours you shouldn’t have it or be trying to use it.” He took the card, got in a vehicle and left.

At least five people camping near the back entrance of a museum were allegedly using the building’s outlets and stealing electricity. The group was kicked off the property and one man was advised of his warrants.

A passerby was upset about people hanging around a grassy area by a bank with belongings strewn all over. Officers moved along two people, advising one about a warrant.

Officers stopped to speak with a man on a hill above the skate park. He reportedly said he was “just enjoying the morning.”

A woman allegedly called the police to ramble at length about different people who lived in her building and were part of a cartel. She was also concerned about people purportedly drilling through her floors and walls.

A utility van with California license plates was reportedly parked in a gym’s parking lot for multiple days. It was unoccupied when officers arrived. They told an employee to call if the occupants returned. People allegedly returned and were seen making dinner, but left before officers arrived a second time.

A red-haired bearded man found sleeping under the awning in front of a business allegedly elicited customer complaints. His sister reportedly picked him up.

Someone thought an unleashed pit bull by Woodland Water Park wasn’t being fed properly because its ribs were showing. The dog was wearing a pink bandana, and they didn’t see anyone around watching it.

Dispatch called back a phone number linked with a 911 hangup and a woman answered who had reportedly checked on a woman lying on the sidewalk who yelled at her when they asked if she needed help. Despite being yelled at, she told dispatch that she circled back to give water to the woman who yelled at her to go away.
