BONNERS FERRY — The Boundless and Spiritsong  choirs are seeking additional singers and are hosting upcoming auditions at the Trinity Lutheran Church.  
Auditions for the mixed ensemble, Boundless, will be held Sunday Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody St., Bonners Ferry. The choir includes men and women. 

Boundless choir members have performed in Carnegie Hall twice and in concerts locally and abroad since 2010. The chamber choir is comprised of 16-20 singers who perform separately as a women’s ensemble, a men’s ensemble, and jointly as a mixed choir. 

Spiritsong , an all-women choir, is hosting auditions Thursday, Sept. 5, at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. There are two choir options for women.  

The all-women’s choir is comprised of 35-40 singers and has performed locally and toured extensively since 2004. 

Women chosen for Boundless are also expected to sing in Spiritsong.

The director of both choirs, Vicki Blake Thompson, has conducted choirs in Bonners Ferry since 1996. This fall marks 13 choir tours and yearly concerts which Thompson has led during this time.  

The tours have included trips to Austria, Ireland (twice), Costa Rica, Tanzania, Greece, Iceland, China, and Cuba, as well as Newfoundland and Powell River in British Columbia in Canada, and twice to Carnegie Hall in New York City.
