Gene F. Duncan passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at the Schneidmiller House.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie, his parents and his brother, Don.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Jaynine Duncan, son Kenan Duncan, wife Connie Bryan Duncan and wife Terri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and a great-great-granddaughter on the way. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Keith, and a sister-in-law, Arline.
Gene was a long-time resident of the Wolf Lodge area. He retired from Boeing and was a veteran, having served in the Air Force.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people from Hospice for the great care they gave to Dad, His PCP, Justin Thompson MD, Kootenai Health, Kootenai Cancer Center, Cancer Care NW, Kootenai County Sheriff and Kootenai EMS. The family would also like to acknowledge Mike, his barber.
Although Dad was adamant about not having a funeral, the family decided to have a celebration of his life in the spring. Everyone is welcome, and the date to be determined.
