Kootenai Thunder 77, Immaculate Conception 57

COCOLALLA — Malachi Duchow and Hunter Peterson had 20 points each as the host Thunder scored 46 points in the middle two quarters to clinch a 77-57 victory over the Cristeros on Tuesday.

Duchow nailed two 3-pointers and scored 12 of his 20 points in the second half, also adding eight rebounds and three assists to the stat sheet. Peterson, in addition to his 20 points, grabbed six boards and dished out four assists.

Dylan Day neared a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds while Gavan Miles scored nine points and recorded five assists and four steals for the Thunder, which hit seven triples on the night in total.

Melkam Manning added six points, seven assists and three steals for the Thunder (4-2), which host Pullman Christian on Friday.

Clark Fork-Mullan Canceled

Tuesday's matchup between the Wampus Cats and Tigers was postponed and may be rescheduled at a later date. 

Clark Fork (0-3) will look to grab their first win Thursday when they host Kootenai.

Genesis Prep 46, Clark Fork 23

CLARK FORK — Senior Hannah Thompson tallied nine points and five rebounds as the host Lady Cats dropped a 2A Scenic Idaho Conference matchup to the Lady Jaguars on Tuesday.

Junior Piper Scarlett added six points, all from beyond the arc, while junior Kathi Rupp had four points and 16 rebounds for the Lady Cats, which trailed 28-8 at halftime.

"Genesis Prep really brought the pressure and we had a hard time dealing with it," Clark Fork High head coach Chris Cavanaugh said. "Kathi had 16 more rebounds; she's getting better and better. Hannah really brought the energy that kept it respectable."

Azelynn Petersen hit a 3-pointer and Aliyah Leadbetter netted a free throw for Clark Fork (2-6), which hosts Kootenai on Thursday.
