Holiday school closures start Monday in most local districts

COLUMBIA BASIN — The holiday season is upon us, and that means – among many other things – winter vacation at local schools. 

With Christmas 2024 next Wednesday, local school districts have gone the easy route with one exception. 

Almira: Last day of school Dec. 20, with school resuming Jan. 6. 

Coulee-Hartline: Last day of school Dec. 20, with classes resuming Jan. 6. 

Soap Lake: Last day of school Dec. 20. Students return Jan. 6. 

Wilson Creek: Wilson Creek students attend school four days per week, so the last day was Jan. 19. Students return Jan. 6. 

Quincy: Last day of school Dec. 20, reopening Jan. 6. 

Ephrata: Last day of school Dec. 20, with school resuming Jan. 6. 

Moses Lake: Last day of school Dec. 20, with classes resuming Jan. 6. 

Warden: Last day of school Dec. 20, with students returning Jan. 6. 

Othello: Last day of school Dec. 20; school reopens Jan. 6. 

Royal: Last day of school Dec. 20; classes resume Jan. 6. 

Wahluke: Last day of school Dec. 20, with students returning Jan. 6. 

Lind-Ritzville: Last day of school Dec. 20; classes resume Jan. 6.
