POST FALLS — The city of Post Falls has unveiled new artwork on four of the city’s snowplows this winter season, featuring designs created by elementary school students from Mullan Trail, Prairie View, Ponderosa and West Ridge elementary schools.

The contest provided an outlet for students to showcase artistic talents while celebrating the importance of winter operations.

The newly adorned snowplows will hit the streets after the next snowfall.

Staff would like to thank students, teachers and families for their support.

“This contest was a wonderful opportunity to engage with our local schools and bring some fun and color to our snowplows,” said Ross Junkin, Public Works maintenance manager.
