WEDNESDAY, January 1

Polar Bear Plunge on Flathead Lake, 1:30 p.m. Meet at The Raven Brew Pub for short parade, costumes welcome, free admission.  


THURSDAY, January 2  

Science on Tap at Flathead Brewery, 6:30 p.m. Speaker Ted Steiner with David Hamre & Associates Avalanche Safety presents, “20 Years of the BNSF Railway Avalanche Safety Program.” Tickets available at https://givebutter.com/SOTJanuary25.  


TUESDAY, January 7

Genealogy classes at Flathead County Libraries – Bigfork, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes geared toward individuals and families aged 13 and older; learn personal researching skills, connect with family history groups, and get expert help navigating genealogical sites.  


WEDNESDAY, January 8 

Free community dinner at Bethany Lutheran Church, 6 p.m. 

Bigfork School Board meeting at Bigfork High School library, 5 p.m.
