Police Calls: The fabled turkey eagle

Dec. 15 

A male, after being asked to leave the location on Wisconsin Avenue, returned to the property several times. 

A Nissan was given a warning for speeding on JP Road. 

One of the drivers involved in a non-injury motor vehicle accident was thought to be on drugs, as he was walking funny and talking funny. 

A puppy was rescued from a dishwasher on Edgewood Place. 

A silver SUV was seen swerving all over the place on Highway 93. 

A woman who returned to her lodging to sleep was unable to find her husband. 

Dec. 16

A blue Dodge and a teal Toyota had a non-injury accident on Third Street. 

The caller believed he saw a dead eagle on the east side of Highway 93. It turned out to be a turkey. 

The caller said a female stole her $300 jacket on Central Avenue. She called back to say she found the jacket at home. 

A caller was concerned that a woman who threw up in a car, then got out and walked away before sitting in the snow by a light post was going to freeze. 

Roommates who had been drinking fought on Park Avenue. 

Dec. 17 

A newer Chevy truck pulling a trailer was seen dropping plastic, wood and debris on the Big Mountain Road for the whole way down the mountain. 

Dec. 18

A white GMC was seen cutting off other drivers and making bad passes on Baker Avenue. 

It was a false alarm at a location on Second Street for the ninth time this year. 

A male and female who had been drinking were parked in a Kia in the middle of Iron Horse Drive. The male was argumentative and they both smelled like alcohol.
