Badgers shine at Spelling Bee

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Middle School students showed off their spelling skills at this year's bee.

Top placers included sixth graders Eva Majeski, first, and Evan Kellogg, second; seventh graders Wesley Beagle, first, and Nate Mellon, second; and eighth graders Sally Olson, first, and Sophia Jackson, second.

BCMS thanked the Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry for its help with judging, Bob Saboe for pronouncing, Super 1 Foods for donating participation prizes, and Profotofix, LLC for providing prizes to the top winners and printing all of the spelling bee materials.
