COEUR d’ALENE —  Sandpoint’s Emma Garman (120) and Lilli Marti (235) both claimed titles at the Lake City girls tournament held Saturday at Lake City High on 

Garman went 3-0 with two pins en route to gold; Marti picked up a sole win over Hallie Hartman of Bonners Ferry.

Taking second place for the Bulldogs were Mackenzee Donenfeld (100/107) and Izzy Stark (126), who returned to action recently. Hunter Edmondson (100/107) also notched a third-place finish for the Bulldogs.

“It was a strong way for us to end the regular season,” head coach Valerie Johansen said. “Our girls continue to demonstrate grit and heart on the mat. We are looking forward to the regional finals.”

The District 1-2 tournament is Thursday at Timberlake High.
