CWU to hold public quarterly meeting Thursday and Friday

ELLENSBURG — The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly two-day meeting beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Wellington Event Center on the CWU campus, according to a Feb. 8 CWU announcement. The meeting is open to the public.
According to the announcement, among the first items on the agenda will be an opportunity for public comment. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via email to [email protected] by Tuesday at 5 p.m.
At approximately noon Thursday, the board and Executive Leadership Team will break for lunch; no business will be conducted, the statement said. The board will return to Wellington Event Center around 1:15 p.m. and will meet until approximately 3:15 p.m.
At 3:30 p.m., board and executive leadership team members will meet in an executive session, which is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The statement said board members will attend a social dinner at 6 p.m., where no business will be conducted.
