Information sought on Larson-area shooting

MOSES LAKE — Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help following a shooting that left a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.
Multiple shots were reported in the area of March Street and Biggs Drive at about 1 a.m. Sunday, according to a GCSO release.
“Callers said they heard eight to 10 shots. Officers found a 19-year-old man who was struck five times and wounded in the torso and limbs. He is being treated at a local hospital,” the release said.
“Detectives are investigating, and it appears this was a targeted attack,” the release said.

MOSES LAKE — Boys and Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin officials are warning people that scammers apparently are using the club’s logo and claiming to be affiliated with the organization. The scammers allegedly were soliciting money door to door along Third Avenue early Tuesday afternoon.
