Grant Elementary hosts talent show

EPHRATA — Grant Elementary School students turned out the red carpet for some fun last Thursday, Feb. 8, for a talent show supporting the arts on campus. Principal Shannon Dahl emceed the event with the help of Brandon Evenson, the campus's dean of students. With a silent auction included in the event, the campus raised a bit more than $1,200 to support the arts.
Dahl expressed appreciation for those who helped put the show together, including Holly Sligar, Marissa Cobb, Shannon Sheneman and Marshall Bilodeau for a variety of tasks that made the show a success.
“It was an amazing show with wonderful and creative talent,” Dahl said.

LA GRANDE, Ore. — Four Basin students were among 635 named to the Eastern Oregon University Dean’s List for the 2025 winter term, according to an announcement from the university. Qualifying students achieve and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework for the term. Water gun brings police to Coeur d’Alene High School
Police responded to a Friday morning report of a student outside Coeur d’Alene High School with what appeared to be a firearm, which turned out to be a water gun.
