Sims, a 6-foot freshman forward from Post Falls High, was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week after earning back-to-back double-doubles last weekend in Alaska. "I'm very happy for Capri to receive this recognition from the conference, and it's well deserved," Central Washington coach Randi Richardson-Thornley said. "She had a great week, and her performance was a key factor in our team's ability to come out with two big road wins. She was very sound defensively, stepped up with some consistent scoring, and was dominant on the boards for us in both games. She is such a hard worker and always a great competitor. Her performances are a reflection of that consistent effort and investment she has shown." On Feb. 15, Sims had a career-high 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Wildcats against Alaska-Fairbanks. On Feb. 17, Sims had 14 points and 12 rebounds with two assists against Alaska-Anchorage.

Lovett, a redshirt junior from Post Falls, earned his 10th ranked win of the season, beating No. 9 Tyler Kasak of Penn State 7-3 in their dual at 149 pounds last Sunday in University Park, Pa. Lovett is the top-ranked wrestler at 149 and is 21-0 on the season.

Heath, a 5-foot-5 sophomore guard from Post Falls High, had 14 points and two assists for the Hawks (21-2, 12-0 Northwest Athletic Conference) in a 64-60 win oat Walla Walla last Saturday.

Nichols, a 5-5 sophomore guard from Post Falls, had 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Hawks in last Saturday's win over Walla Walla.
