Boundary County women will gather together to break mindset barriers at the 9B Ladies Event on March 10 at the Kootenai River Inn.

For years the 9B Ladies Event, put on by the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce, has been a highly anticipated event where local women meet up to learn, socialize, and get inspired. In the past, the event has been geared toward female entrepreneurs; however, this year, organizers have decided to broaden the event to appeal to all women who are looking to be empowered.

This year’s theme is “Break Barriers” and the workshops and topics will revolve around overcoming the mindset barriers that we give ourselves.

The influential speakers have prepared topics intended to motivate and help women succeed in their careers and their lives. The topics include breathwork, productivity, goal setting, the power of choice, and how to get unstuck from tough financial situations.

Several businesses in the community have sponsored and donated prizes for the drawings, as well as the raffle baskets and swag bags.

Vendor tables will be present and attendees will have time to peruse the local wares from some of the community business owners.

An afternoon snack and a taco bar lunch is provided. (Gluten and dairy-free items are available in the taco bar) Each attendee will be given a drink ticket for the social hour at the end of the event.

“Ladies can come and recharge, refresh and walk away with a new sense of vitality about themselves,” said Lindsay Sutherland, chamber board member.

Visit www.bonnersferry.org/event-calendar to order your ticket.

For questions or information call Lindsay at 208-329-8204 or Natalie at 208-946-3331. Updates are also available on the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 1 at the Kootenai River Inn.
