This week’s athlete of the week is Parker Childs of Sandpoint boys basketball.
During the district tournament, Parker averaged 13 points, 4 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. In Game 1 against Moscow, he hit the game-tying 3-pointer with four seconds remaining to send the game in to overtime, a game which Sandpoint ended up winning 64-58.
