Koetter returning to BSU
as offensive coordinator
Dirk Koetter, head coach at Boise State from 1998-2000, will return to the program as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, head coach Spencer Danielson announced on Wednesday.
Koetter won two Big West Conference titles, two Humanitarian Bowl titles and was named the conference's coach of the year twice. Before returning to the college game, Koetter spent 14 years in the NFL, including three years as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Koetter's new contract with Boise State is subject to approval by the Idaho State Board of Education.
