Burke, a 5-foot-8 sophomore guard from Coeur d'Alene High, had 15 points and six rebounds off the bench as UC Santa Barbara improved to 2-0 in Big West Conference play with a 64-56 win over visiting UC Riverside last Saturday. "She had good rhythm from the three and for her, she just goes 100 miles per hour," UC Santa Barbara coach Bonnie Henrickson said of Burke. "I would rather tame a lion than teach a kitty cat to roar, and she is a lion as mar as her aggressiveness. She is finding better rhythm so that has been good. Her three looks good and she is really the best three-level scorer we have." UC Santa Barbara (8-4) travels to UC San Diego tonight at 7 (ESPN+).
