COEUR d'ALENE — Coeurly Q's Square Dance Club members will perform during their Snowflake Ball from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.
The square-dancing group holds events the first Saturday of each month from October through May. The Western square-dancing style is done in squares of eight, usually four men and four women. Dancers form squares and dance in patterns as directed by callers to music that can be rock, classical, pop or country.
The public is welcome to attend to watch the dancing and enjoy a family-friendly environment. Admission is $3 for kids, $8 for adults and $15 for a family.
Lessons for $5 per person, per week begin Jan. 18 at Harding Family Center. Anyone interested in square dancing is welcome. No partner is needed to take lessons.
