Anderson, a sophomore, won the 152-pound championship in the girls Rollie Lane Invitational on Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, pinning Jordyn Kearn of American Falls in 2:59. “Brooklyn has shown much more confidence in her ability to wrestle tough matches this year,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “What she does really well is stay in good body position, which makes her difficult to score on. With this win, her confidence level should rise for the push to the end of the year.”
