COEUR d'ALENE — Mudgy and Millie are on a quest to find the beautiful humuhumunukunukuapua’a, or reef triggerfish, in "Mudgy and Millie Adventures: Hawaii."

The new book, written by Susan Nipp, illustrated by Charles Reasoner, and published by Figpickels Press, is an underwater adventure.

It was introduced to about 400 kids and parents at the Mudgy and Santa singalong at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library in December. Santa gave each child a new Mudgy and Millie Hawaii book as a gift.

This is the fifth in the Mudgy and Millie series. Others have taken readers to Australia, Costa Rica and Africa.

The books are available at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, Figpickels Toy Emporium, The Well-Read Moose and other local outlets.
