Raymond Edwin Bicker, 89

Raymond Edwin Bicker; Veteran, deacon, family man, was born Feb. 5, 1932, to Ruth and Ralph Bicker in Pasadena, Calif., and died Jan. 3, 2024, at the age of 89.

Raymond was the third of four boys; Ralph, Robert and Roy. He worked as a Supervisor at the Metropolitan Water District for 25 years. Rick, his son, worked with him at the same facility for 15 years.  

He was married to Beatrice Halleson. They raised three children, they had two sons together and Beatrice had a daughter; Rick, Steven and Carolyn. They lived in Pasadena, retired in Big Bear, Calif., and later moved to Post Falls, Idaho. 

He was always very active in the church and lived his life devoted to his family and his God. He served 18 months in the army stationed in Germany.   

He has seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
