NIC’s Wednesday wrestling dual with Providence canceled
COEUR d'ALENE — Mostly due to travel concerns with the anticipated snowy weather coming up, the North Idaho College home wrestling match scheduled for Wednesday against the University of Providence from Great Falls, Mont., has been canceled.
NIC, ranked fifth in the NJCAA, is next scheduled to play host to No. 4 Clackamas Community College of Oregon City, Ore., on Friday at 6 p.m. at Christianson Gym.
Rieken receives camp invite from Chicago team in NWSL
Bridget Rieken, formerly of Lake City High and Washington State, has been invited to preseason camp later this month with the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Rieken was not selected in last Friday’s three-round NWSL draft.
