KVRI grizzly bear subcommittee meeting July 11

BONNERS FERRY — The Kootenai Valley Resource Initiative grizzly bear subcommittee will meet on July 11 at 10 a.m. at the Boundary County Annex.

KVRI is a collaboration between local governments and agencies focused on maintaining, enhancing, and restoring the social, cultural, economic, and natural resource bases within the community. 

There will be a presentation from Wildlife Services about electric fencing opportunities for landowners, a bear spray recycling program update, a discussion about how we can learn more about garbage management, and planning for the second annual bear fair.
